Jewish students in Pennsylvania are facing escalating harassment, threats, and antisemitic violence—yet schools often fail to teach the historical context needed to stop it.
In 2024, antisemitic incidents hit a historic high nationwide, and Pennsylvania saw a disturbing surge of its own. From verbal assaults to hate-fueled vandalism and even firebombing, Jew-hatred in this state has moved from whispers to threats—and now to open attacks.
Too many young Americans have no understanding of the Holocaust, and it shows. Holocaust ignorance is feeding the normalization of antisemitism in schools, on college campuses, and across public life.
SB 127 is a bill that would mandate Holocaust education in Pennsylvania schools. But as it stands, it lacks teeth: no clear curriculum, no teacher training, no accountability, and no funding. A weak bill will not protect students or fix this crisis.
Let’s send a clear message: Pennsylvania must take real action to fight Jew-hatred in our schools. Demand strong Holocaust education standards, and stand up for every Jewish student’s right to feel safe and seen.
