Maryam Iqbal has crossed the line—again. This Barnard College student has been arrested twice for violent, pro-Hamas activism.
She has disrupted campus life, glorified terrorism, and led antisemitic chants such as “Globalize the Intifada.” Each time, she has walked away with barely a slap on the wrist.
Now, she has gone even further, calling for the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu—publicly and proudly.

In response to Netanyahu’s post praying for conservative activist Charlie Kirk after he was shot, Iqbal posted: “Inshallah you’re next”—a death threat broadcast to over 1.2 million people.
This is not just hate—it’s incitement to violence.
And Barnard? Still silent. Still protecting her.
Let’s be clear: Iqbal’s actions violate the federal agreement Barnard signed in July after losing a major antisemitism lawsuit.
That agreement mandates zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination and threats—especially those targeting Jews and Israelis.
It also gives the college full authority to discipline students for off-campus behavior, including social media incitement.
So why is Iqbal still on campus?
How many warnings does she get? How many times does she have to be arrested before Barnard acts? If the school does not enforce its own rules after a public death threat, what exactly does “zero tolerance” mean?
This is a test—not just of Barnard’s credibility, but of whether Jewish students can trust their institutions to protect them.
Enough is enough. Barnard must expel Maryam Iqbal immediately.
