California is issuing personalized license plates that glorify terrorism and threaten Jewish lives.
DMV-approved messages such as “WHAMAS,” “LOLOCT7,” and “NTFADA” encode support for antisemitic violence and terrorist groups.
These aren’t just offensive—they’re state-issued symbols of hate.
“LOLOCT7” appears to mock the October 7 Hamas massacre, “WHAMAS” praises a terrorist group, and “NTFADA” echoes a call for a violent uprising and murder.

California’s DMV is violating its own rules by greenlighting identifiers that glorify terror and incite antisemitic violence.
According to the state’s official policy, plates must be denied if they include racial slurs, vulgarity, or hostility toward any group. So, why are such plates approved—again and again?
This isn’t just offensive. It’s dangerous.
“Intifada” isn’t a metaphor. It’s a historical campaign of suicide bombings, lynchings, and attacks on Jewish civilians. Congress has condemned the phrase “Globalize the Intifada” as a call to violence. Approving “NTFADA” as a license plate normalizes this horror under the guise of free speech.
California cannot claim to fight hate crimes while approving these slogans. It’s time to hold the leadership accountable.
