The soldiers were named as Lt. Matan Abramovitz (21), from Ganei Tikva; Staff Sgt. Uri Lamed (20), from Tel Mond; and Sgts. Amit Arye Regev (19), from Modiin-Maccabim-Reut, and Gadi Kotal (20), from Kibbutz Afikim.

The slain man was identified as Master Sgt. (res.) Abraham Azulay, 25, a heavy engineering vehicle operator in the Southern Command, from Yitzhar in Samaria.
Staff Sgt. Eliya Hilel and Staff Sgt. Diego Shvisha Harsaj, both 20 and from Tel Aviv, were struck near the entrance to the Jewish community of Itamar.
