Israel’s average monthly salary continued to climb in late 2025, with new data showing a noticeable wage increase ahead of inflation.

Initial figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics put the average wage for November 2025 at NIS 13,587, an increase of 4.6% compared with November 2024, Globes reports.

The latest numbers indicate that salaries are growing faster than living costs, which rose 2.4% over the same period.

The gap suggests that workers, on average, gained purchasing power even as households continued to manage higher prices.

Labor market indicators remain solid, with economists describing conditions as tight.

Employers continued reporting high demand for workers, and job vacancies remained elevated through the final months of the year.

Unemployment also remained low, putting pressure on companies to raise pay.

The tech sector, a major driver of Israel’s economy, recorded even sharper wage growth.

Salaried employees in the industry earned an average of NIS 32,479 in October 2025.

That figure reflects a 5.1% jump from October 2024, when the average stood at NIS 30,893. The sector also expanded its workforce, reaching 401,400 positions—up 1.2% from a year earlier.

While rising salaries have been a persistent feature of Israel’s recovery, analysts note that inflation has continued to affect household budgets, even though the current pace of price increases remains well below the sharp spikes seen earlier.

The newest wage figures indicate that many workers are seeing gains outpace those pressures, at least in aggregate.

The government is expected to release updated labor data in the coming weeks, providing a fuller picture of employment trends as 2026 begins.
