Israeli radar-imaging firm Camero-Tech is seeing rising international adoption of its Xaver 400 system, a technology designed to give security and rescue forces immediate intelligence about what lies behind walls before an operation begins.
The system, part of Camero-Tech’s Sense Through the Wall radar family, allows operators to detect and locate people concealed inside buildings or behind solid obstacles without physical entry.
Using ultra-wideband radar combined with proprietary imaging algorithms, the device delivers real-time visuals even in dense or obstructed environments where conventional tools fail.
According to the company, the Xaver 400 is now in operational use across nearly 60 countries by military units, police forces, and search-and-rescue teams. The technology is intended for high-risk scenarios where uncertainty can cost lives, providing actionable intelligence moments before forces breach or enter a structure.
Camero-Tech founder and CEO Amir Beeri said the system fundamentally changes how teams approach dangerous missions. “From counterterrorism to high-risk law enforcement missions, the Xaver 400 provides mission-critical intelligence that transforms uncertainty into clarity,” he told The Jerusalem Post.
Beeri has also described the capability as giving teams “an unprecedented operational edge, the ability to ‘see the unseen’ before taking action.”
Law enforcement agencies deploy the system during counterterrorism operations, hostage and kidnapping rescues, explosive breaches, and high-risk arrests, as well as in anti-drug raids. By identifying how many people are inside a structure and where they are located, operators can plan safer and faster interventions while reducing the risk of surprise encounters.
Camero-Tech executives say demand has grown particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, where security budgets continue to rise. Vice President Ilan Abramovich said the company was “proud to strengthen our partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region, a fast-growing market with increasing demand for advanced situational awareness technologies.”
Industry assessments cited by the company point to steady growth in Asian defense spending over the coming years, creating new opportunities for Israeli defense technologies. These developments come as some Western governments reassess trade relationships with Israel, making expansion into Asian and Pacific markets strategically significant for Israeli firms.
Founded in 2004, Camero-Tech focuses on ultra-wideband micro-power radar imaging and is considered an early developer in the Sense Through The Wall field. Its systems are used in both military and civilian rescue operations worldwide.
The company operates under SK Group, an Israeli industrial group founded by Samy Katsav, whose portfolio includes technologies developed for defense, law enforcement, and civilian use. Abramovich said the company’s priority remains supporting partners operating in complex environments, adding that Camero-Tech is committed to providing “the most reliable and field-proven solutions, ensuring that every operation is informed, efficient, and decisive.”
