Anti-Israel activists took to social media to demand a boycott of Peacock’s reality show “Traitors” over the casting of Jewish comedian and Israel supporter Michael Rapaport.
Peacock announced the reality show will begin its fourth season with a star-studded cast, including comedian Ron Funches, Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, actress and reality star Lisa Rinna, and Michael Rapaport, who played Gary on the iconic sitcom “Friends.”
Some fans of “Traitors,” a reality show that appoints “Faithfuls” to detect and expose “Traitors,” supported the casting decision. In contrast, anti-Israel activists deplored the choice and threatened to boycott the program.

‘Michael Rapaport is one of the most disgusting reality TV casting choices imaginable,’ wrote another.
‘As much as some of my favorite reality figures are in here, the inclusion of Michael Rapaport makes it an easy skip. Not entertained by the reputational laundering of rabid racists and genocide supporters,’ wrote another.
Since the Hamas invasion of Israel on October 7th, 2023, the Jewish comedian has been outspoken in his support for Israel and the release of the hostages. However, he claims he has lost work because of his vocal Zionist position.
‘I feel like I’ve always gotten threats—whether it was stuff about politics, I’ve always gotten threats on social media, those don’t concern me. I’ve had comedy shows protested, and that doesn’t concern me. There’s been… how do I say it, there’s been… some issues in terms of getting jobs as an actor,’ he told Fox News last year.
‘However, I don’t have the slightest bit of regret. I don’t. There was no choice. “Well, if you do this, this is going to happen” or “If you do this, this won’t happen.” Being supportive of Jews, being supportive of Israel, being supportive of our people, was not a choice. It is very natural and organic to me.’
