Nearly all AI-generated antisemitic content identified by monitoring group CyberWell between January 2025 and February 2026 was posted after June 2025, reflecting what the organization described as a sharp escalation in both the spread and normalization of antisemitic material across major social media platforms.
CyberWell’s report examined 307 AI-generated antisemitic posts collected from Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X during the reporting period. The organization said the content generated more than 30 million views and over 2.8 million user interactions.
According to the report, 98.4% of the antisemitic material appeared from June 2025 onward, coinciding with a broader increase in AI-generated multimedia content online.
CyberWell said the trend accelerated during Israel’s 12-day war with Iran in June 2025, when AI-generated antisemitic songs and videos circulated widely across platforms.
The report found that TikTok accounted for the largest share of identified posts at 35.8%, while Instagram produced the highest engagement levels, accounting for 64.9% of views and interactions.
TikTok and Meta demonstrated higher removal rates than YouTube and X, which the report said lacked similarly explicit policies addressing AI-generated hate content.
Researchers identified several recurring themes within the dataset, including depictions of Jews as greedy or money-obsessed, Holocaust-related hate speech, and violent rhetoric directed against Jews linked to current events.
CyberWell said much of the content avoided straightforward hate speech by using coded language, humor, disclaimers such as “#satire,” and stereotypical imagery intended to mask antisemitic messaging while remaining highly shareable online.
The organization warned that existing AI safety policies and social media enforcement systems remain poorly equipped to address implicit or AI-generated antisemitic material at scale.
The report called on social media companies, AI developers, and policymakers to strengthen enforcement mechanisms, improve safeguards against coded hate speech, and establish clearer policies governing AI-generated content.
