Zohran Mamdani, the presumptive Democratic nominee for NYC mayor, has alarmingly praised individuals convicted of financing Hamas and embraced rhetoric that threatens Jewish safety.
In a resurfaced rap video titled “Salaam,” Mamdani expressed admiration for the “Holy Land Five”—individuals convicted in the largest terror-financing case in U.S. history for sending millions to Hamas. One of those men publicly performed a song that declared “Death is right for the Jews.”
In 2017, Zohran Mamdani praised the Holy Land 5 — criminals convicted of providing material support to Hamas terrorists.
He now wants to be mayor of America’s largest city.

This isn’t artistic license or youthful indiscretion—it’s a dangerous endorsement of those who incite violence against Jews.
More recently, when pressed repeatedly during a televised interview, Mamdani refused to clearly condemn the slogan “Globalize the Intifada,” a phrase widely recognized as a call for violence.
His ongoing refusal to distance himself from radical antisemitic messaging has drawn outrage across the political spectrum.
This is not a matter of political disagreement—it is a matter of safety, values and decency. A candidate seeking to lead America’s largest city must be held to a higher moral standard.
Our city’s Jewish community deserves more than vague reassurances. It deserves real leadership—a leadership that denounces hatred without hesitation.
If we remain silent, we allow dangerous ideas to take root. This is a moment for moral clarity.
