In a landmark move this month, the European Parliament voted to freeze funding to the Palestinian Authority (PA) over its continued use of school textbooks that incite hatred, glorify terrorism, and promote antisemitism.
Lawmakers from across the political spectrum condemned the PA’s educational materials for violating basic principles of peace and coexistence, demanding that EU taxpayer money not be used to poison young minds with hate.
But the work is not finished—UNRWA, the UN agency responsible for Palestinian refugees, continues to teach hate, fuel violence, and enable terrorism.

UNRWA’s record is clear: For over 75 years, it has poisoned generations with curricula glorifying violence, jihad, and martyrdom, while omitting any hope for peace or coexistence.
Its schools have produced terrorists, including October 7 mastermind Yahya Sinwar. At least 12 UNRWA staff participated in the October 7 massacre, and thousands more celebrated these atrocities. UNRWA’s deep partnership with Hamas is undeniable—10% of its employees have direct terror ties, and half have close family connections.
This is a critical moment. The EU must not allow its funds to support organizations that perpetuate hate and violence.
Email President Ursula von der Leyen and the European Commission. Demand that they permanently defund UNRWA, revoke its tax-exempt status, and sanction its leadership for complicity in terror. Urge them to redirect aid to organizations that truly help Palestinians build a better future.
