Gaza-based terror groups continue to hold the bodies of three hostages, including two Israelis and one Thai, in clear violation of the ceasefire agreement.

Al-Jazeera reports that the remains of one of the hostages held by Palestinian Islamic Jihad were recovered in northern Nuseirat in the Gaza Strip. At this stage, the report has not been independently confirmed by other sources.
This development comes amid growing concern over Gaza-based terror groups continuing to hold the bodies of three hostages, including two Israelis and one Thai, in clear violation of the ceasefire that went into effect more than six weeks ago.
Families of the hostages, Israeli authorities, and international mediators have repeatedly called for the immediate release or return of all hostages and remains.
The last body returned to Israel was that of Meny Godard on November 13, more than a week ago. The slow and inconsistent return of remains underlines the ongoing failure to respect even the most basic humanitarian standards.
The continued detention of hostages and their bodies demonstrates a blatant disregard by terror groups for the ceasefire, international law, and the dignity of victims and their families. It prolongs the suffering of loved ones, complicates diplomatic efforts.
Israeli authorities maintain that they will continue to demand accountability and pursue every available channel to secure the release of the remaining captives, holding the terror groups fully responsible for their actions.
