At Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, a teacher used Holocaust education as a weapon — showing a Turkish state propaganda video that equates Israel with Nazi Germany and tells Jews they should feel ashamed of being “part of the tribe.”
This wasn’t an accident. It was part of a lesson on the Holocaust.

The Santa Clara Unified School District rightly investigated and found the lesson discriminatory and in violation of multiple policies. But now, shockingly, the teacher — backed by CAIR and the local teachers’ union — is appealing that decision.
If the board accepts the appeal at today’s special meeting, this hateful, false material could become part of the curriculum.
Holocaust distortion is not education. It’s propaganda. And it puts Jewish students in direct harm.
Imagine being a Jewish teen learning about the Holocaust, only to be told by your own teacher that your people are the new Nazis.
This is how hatred spreads — through lies that flip truth on its head and desensitize students to real antisemitism.
The silence is deafening. If this appeal succeeds, it won’t just embolden this one teacher. It will signal to others that weaponizing Holocaust memory is fair game in California classrooms.
