Israeli startup SeeTrue has introduced the latest version of its AI-powered security screening system, designed to make airport checks faster and more accurate.
The new platform, SeeTrue X-ray, is built on the company’s own artificial intelligence engine.
It promises quicker detection of weapons, explosives, and other prohibited items, while reducing false alarms that often slow passengers.
The system is already operational in more than 150 X-ray lanes worldwide and has been tested by the U.S. National Safe Skies Alliance.
SeeTrue was the first company to integrate AI into live security screening, and it says it has now processed more than 50 million scans worldwide.
The latest upgrade, the company explained, is based on lessons learned in the field and feedback from airports and security teams.
“Our goal has always been to help our customers meet the highest security standards while keeping operations efficient,” said Assaf Frenkel, SeeTrue’s co-founder and CEO, told Our Crowd. “This release reflects years of experience and input from those on the ground.”
The upgraded SeeTrue X-ray is designed to plug into existing scanners, making it easier for airports, border crossings, and other facilities to adopt.
It also supports new operating methods and a growing suite of security tools that SeeTrue is developing.
By combining speed with accuracy, SeeTrue says it can provide operators with a smoother screening process without compromising safety.
For airports in particular, this balance is becoming increasingly important as global passenger traffic continues to rise.
