United Hatzalah celebrated nearly 1,000 ambulance and emergency drivers at a heartfelt night in Airport City, honoring their tireless, life-saving work across Israel while paying tribute to fallen volunteer Hami Erlanger and recognizing 2025’s outstanding responders.

Last night I hugged nearly 1,000 United Hatzalah volunteers.

I asked each one a simple question: where are you from?

The answers were all over the place, from small kibbutzim to major cities, from Kiryat Shemona to Eilat.
