The Israeli Navy and the U.S. Fifth Fleet carried out intensive joint drills, from mine neutralization and threat interception to diving missions and boarding exercises. A U.S. P-8 aircraft and an Israeli Sa’ar 5 ship also teamed up to build a shared operational picture. Their expanding work with CENTCOM highlights a vital partnership securing the region’s seas.
