An IDF soldier was seriously wounded in the head when a bomb exploded just north of Jerusalem. Police confirmed it was a terror attack.
On Tuesday evening, an IDF soldier was injured in a bomb blast at the Hizme Checkpoint, north of Jerusalem.
It occurred on Yom HaZikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day for Fallen IDF Soldiers and Victims of Terror.
The soldier, in serious condition but fully conscious, was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center with head injuries.
More explosives were found at the scene, the Judea and Samaria fire and rescue team said.
