The Y-Studs, a Jewish a capella group, celebrates the Festival of Lights with a  music video based on the song “Rise Up,” originally performed by Andra Day.

The Y-Studs music video reminds us how to “rise up” and stand up for our religious freedom, as the Maccabees did. 

It shows a college student facing anti-Semitism on campus, but ultimately refusing to let it ruin his Chanukah celebration.

Unfortunately, anti-Semitism is on the rise today, especially on college campuses.
