Former college basketball player Zevi Samet transformed his struggles into strength—using his talent on the court as a platform to share Jewish values and inspire teammates toward faith.

YU legend and former G League player, now with Hapoel Haifa in Israel, Ryan Turell said that keeping Shabbat, kosher, and his faith never conflicts with his basketball—it only makes his game stronger.

Turell played 54 games for the Motor City Cruise, averaging 14.2 and 11.9 minutes per game respectively in two seasons.
