Israel and Egypt have maintained restrictions on Gaza to prevent weapons smuggling since Hamas seized control of the Strip in 2007. Since then, Palestinian activists have periodically launched flotillas to challenge the blockade.

Mosab Hassan Yousef, known as the Green Prince and son of a Hamas founder visited Gaza and reported he saw firsthand that Hamas was stealing aid and harming civilians.

'Hamas wants to force Israel to release mass murderers of the caliber of Sinwar. They want them released back to the streets, can you imagine?'

'It is nothing but a violent ideology established as a hostile movement to annihilate the Jewish People,' said Mosab Hassan Yosef.

'As long as we empower Hamas, more children are going to die.'

'I don't think there is a way around eradicating Hamas and removing them from power,' says Mosab Hassan Yousef.

'I was raised in Hamas, I worked for Hamas, but when I was exposed to corruption, I left. I cut off ties,' said Suheib Yousef.
