Israeli and Polish authorities condemned the Independence Day event, which fell on same week as the anniversary of Kristallnacht.

'Poland approved today, not for the first time, an anti-Semitic and immoral law,' Foreign Minister Yair Lapid stated. 

The law being considered by Poland's parliament "is a terrible injustice."
