Pezeshkian is said to have cautioned that without a ceasefire, Iran’s economy could 'completely collapse within three weeks to a month.'

So far, 35 people have been killed during protests, including four children, and 1,200 demonstrators have been arrested. 

Carlson also said he had made a third request in the past several months to interview Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
