After more than 500 days, the bodies of Ariel and Kfir were returned to Israel on Feb. 20, 2025, as part of a ceasefire deal.

The hostages were brought as guests of Israel's President Issac Herzog to spread their story of survival.

Kfir, his brother Ariel (4), his mother Shiri (32) and his father Yarden (34) were captured by Hamas terrorists on October 7th.

On Oct. 7th the Bibas family was kidnapped into Gaza with their fate unknown.
