A Jewish Hebrew teacher in a remote Bedouin village school defies fear, language barriers, and poor infrastructure to give her students dignity, connection, and a real chance at a better future through education.

The award ceremony for the teachers was held Wednesday evening at Jerusalem’s Bible Lands Museum.
