Already one of Israel’s largest employers with more than 5,000 Israelis on its payroll, the tech giant is expanding its operations and aiming to build a new northern hub that could pump billions into the economy.

The total number of high-tech employees has plateaued at approximately 400,000, maintaining a steady share of about 11% of the overall workforce.

The hi-tech industry employs about 12% of the Israeli workforce, with around 10% of that serving in the IDF reserves this year.
