On Sunday night, a 22-year-old Jewish man was violently attacked by a group of four or five unidentified individuals outside his home in Golders Green.

Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis warned that it was 'unacceptable that poisonous antisemitism has become normalized in the UK.'

'If you are visibly Jewish, you’re not safe,' Rabbi Mirvis said, adding that 'words of condemnation are no longer sufficient.'

The two victims, aged in their 70s and 30s, were treated at the scene for stab wounds and taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The terror group described the synagogue as an important center connected to religious Zionism and support for Israel in Britain.
