On Aug. 7, the Security Cabinet decided by a “decisive majority” to approve Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to expand the war effort by gaining control of Gaza City.

Most deaths attributed to malnutrition were due to severe pre-existing medical conditions, with some patients even having received treatment in Israel prior to the war sparked by Hamas’s Oct. 7

Netanyahu: 'Gaza will be demilitarized, and a peaceful civilian administration will be established, one that is not the Palestinian Authority, not Hamas, and not any other terrorist organization.'

Despite condemnation by the UN and some governments that Israel is blocking aid into Gaza, this footage shows that Israel is airdropping food for Gazan civilians.

The casualties were identified as Sgt. Moshe Nissim Frech, 20, from Jerusalem; Staff-Sgt. Meir Shimon Amar, 20, from Jerusalem; Staff-Sgt. Noam Aharon Musgadian, 20, from Jerusalem; Sgt. 1st Class (res.) Benyamin Asulin, 20, from Haifa; and Staff-Sgt. Moshe Shmuel Noll, 21, from Beit Shemesh.
