The study shows 266 Palestinians labeled as journalists or media workers who died in the fighting, concluding that 157 of them were operatives or closely linked to terror organizations.

Al Jazeera has been banned not only by Israel, but also by the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.

The ban is being enforced under the terms of the 'Al-Jazeera Law,' which allows Israel to temporarily end the operations of news services deemed harmful to national security.

The law was acted upon in May, with the shutdown of the Qatari Al Jazeera station within Israel.

The measures will enable Al Jazeera’s press credentials to be revoked and its transmitters confiscated.
