“For the first time in our history, we went to war shoulder to shoulder with our friend President Trump and our great ally, the United States,” Netanyahu said.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israel has achieved “extraordinary” gains in its war against Iran, emphasizing close coordination with the United States and warning that the campaign is not yet over.
Speaking Wednesday night shortly after the conclusion of the Passover holiday, Netanyahu praised the resilience of Israeli civilians and the performance of IDF forces, while honoring those killed in the fighting.
“When you showed resilience in safe rooms and shelters, we achieved tremendous achievements together, our fighters at the front and you on the home front,” Netanyahu said. He also bowed his head “before our loved ones who fell in this campaign” and expressed support for wounded soldiers and bereaved families.
Netanyahu said the results of the war so far have dramatically shifted the balance of power in the region.
“Iran is weaker than ever, and Israel is stronger than ever. That is the bottom line of this campaign so far,” he said.
He stressed that the temporary two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran, coordinated fully with Israel, is only a pause in the fighting.
“This is not the end of the campaign. It is a stage on the way to achieving all our goals,” Netanyahu said. “We have more objectives to complete, and we will achieve them either through agreement or by renewing the fighting. We are ready to return to combat at any moment.”
According to Netanyahu, Iran has entered negotiations from a position of weakness, including agreeing to reopen the Strait of Hormuz after dropping key demands.
He highlighted what he described as unprecedented strategic cooperation with the United States, calling the joint effort with President Donald Trump historic.
“For the first time in our history, we went to war shoulder to shoulder with our friend President Trump and our great ally, the United States,” Netanyahu said. “Such a partnership against our greatest enemy has never existed before.”
Netanyahu added that the close relationship remains strong, noting that he and Trump speak frequently and dismissing speculation about tensions between them.
The prime minister outlined a series of major achievements by Israel, including significant damage to Iran’s missile production and nuclear programs.
“We didn’t just destroy missiles. We destroyed the factories that produce them,” he said, adding that Iran’s remaining missile stockpiles are being depleted without the ability to replenish them.
He said Israel had also “severely damaged Iran’s nuclear program,” targeting key infrastructure, centrifuge facilities, and scientists involved in nuclear development.
Netanyahu further pointed to strikes on Iran’s economic and military backbone, including petrochemical plants, steel factories, weapons production sites, transportation infrastructure, and military bases.
“We shattered the money machine and the weapons production machine of the Revolutionary Guards,” he said.
He added that Israel had eliminated senior regime figures and operatives and significantly weakened Iran’s internal repression apparatus.
“We proved we can reach them anywhere. They have nowhere to hide,” Netanyahu said.
Beyond Iran, Netanyahu said Israel has continued to strike Hezbollah in Lebanon and maintain pressure on Hamas in Gaza, while establishing forward defensive zones beyond Israel’s borders.
“We delivered Hezbollah its most significant blow since the pager attacks,” he said, noting that Israeli forces struck 100 targets in 10 minutes.
Netanyahu concluded that Israel’s actions have reshaped the Middle East and positioned the country as the dominant force in the region.
“As I promised at the start of this war, we have dramatically changed the face of the Middle East in Israel’s favor, and we will continue to do so,” he said. “We are the side that initiates, we are the side that fights, and with God’s help, we are the side that wins.”
