Throughout the night, Israeli Air Force fighter jets carried out a wide wave of strikes against ballistic missile production sites, air defense systems, and naval weapons production infrastructure across Iran, as part of the ongoing campaign against the Iranian regime’s military capabilities.
Strikes were conducted in several areas, including Tehran, where infrastructure and facilities used by the regime to manufacture weapons were targeted, with a particular focus on ballistic missile production sites. These facilities are considered part of Iran’s missile production network that has been used to launch missiles toward Israel during the war.
In western Iran, Israeli aircraft struck missile fire arrays, including launchers, storage facilities, and additional military infrastructure considered a threat to Israel. The ongoing strikes are part of efforts to damage Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities and reduce the scale of missile fire directed at Israeli civilians.
In a separate strike, Israeli aircraft targeted what was described as the most central site in Iran for the production of naval missiles and naval mines. The site, located in the city of Yazd in central Iran, was used for the planning, development, assembly, and storage of advanced missiles intended to be launched from naval vessels, submarines, and helicopters toward maritime targets.
Many of Iran’s naval missiles and sea mines were developed at this facility, making it a key component of Iran’s naval weapons program. The strike is considered a significant blow to Iran’s naval weapons production capabilities and comes after earlier operations targeting senior leadership within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps naval forces.
The overnight strikes are part of a broader campaign targeting Iran’s military industries and weapons production infrastructure, with the goal of weakening the regime’s missile and military capabilities and reducing threats against Israel.
