One Jewish detainee remains in custody, and efforts are underway to secure his release.

Israeli public broadcaster Kan News reported that two Iranian Jews detained in Tehran and Shiraz over alleged involvement in anti-regime protests have been released, after intervention by senior figures in Iran’s Jewish community.
One Jewish detainee remains in custody, and efforts are underway to secure his release, according to the same reporting.
The report says three Jews were arrested as part of a wider wave of detentions in recent weeks, as the Islamic Republic intensifies its crackdown on dissent.
Community-linked sources told Kan the detainees were not involved in the protests and were allegedly arrested “by mistake.”
In parallel, Iran’s regime messaging went into overdrive: Jewish MP Homayoun Samah and Rabbi Younes Hamami Lalehzar were shown at Revolution anniversary events and in interviews praising the Islamic Republic’s “support” for religious minorities—language widely read as coerced loyalty-signaling under the ayatollahs.
For Israel, it’s another reminder that Tehran pressures vulnerable minorities as political cover while it hunts dissent at home. The remaining detainee’s name and condition were not provided in the reporting.
