This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in defense of freedom.
Among them are the 13 American servicemen who fell earlier this year in the war against the Iranian terror regime. They stood on the front lines of a global fight for liberty, security, and peace.
Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
In that defining moment, the United States and Israel stood together as never before, shoulder to shoulder and wing to wing, in a historic partnership that changed the course of the region.
Under the leadership of President Donald Trump, American and Israeli forces carried out Operation Epic Fury, delivering a decisive blow to Iran’s terror infrastructure and sending a clear message to those who threaten the free world.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth described the operation as a collaboration between “the two best air forces in the world,” a reflection not only of military strength but of shared purpose.
That purpose is rooted in values that bind our nations together: freedom, democracy, and the fight to defend them at all costs.
Today, we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage lives on in the continued partnership between the United States and Israel and in the ongoing fight against tyranny.
We stand united not only for our own security but for the future of the Iranian people, for the stability of the region, and for the safety of the entire world.
Their legacy continues to guide us as we carry forward the fight for freedom.
