Israeli authorities denied entry to American YouTuber Tyler Oliveira and deported him back to the United States after he landed in Israel, citing what officials described as repeated antisemitic rhetoric and incitement targeting Jews and Jewish communities.
According to Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, the decision followed a review of Oliveira’s public statements and online content, which officials said crossed the line from political criticism into antisemitic incitement.
Among the material cited was a recent interview with Tucker Carlson in which Oliveira claimed that “Jews systematically exploit the generosity of others” and “use intergenerational guilt surrounding the Holocaust for their own needs.”
The ministry also pointed to statements in which Oliveira accused Jews of labeling all criticism as antisemitism.
Officials further referenced a February 2026 video in which Oliveira said he intended to “expose the invasion of the Jewish community” into New Jersey and referred to a supposed “Jewish takeover.”
Earlier this year, Oliveira released a lengthy video targeting the Orthodox Jewish community in Lakewood, New Jersey, which critics described as openly antisemitic. Promoting the film on X, Oliveira wrote: “Hello Goyim. I have released a 73-minute-long documentary on New Jersey’s Jewish Invasion.”
The video focused heavily on allegations of welfare abuse and Medicaid fraud within the Orthodox community, repeatedly framing large Jewish families as exploiting taxpayers and portraying the growing Jewish population as a threat.
Oliveira previously produced similar content targeting the Hasidic community of Kiryas Joel, New York, which he described as “a New York town invaded by Jews addicted to welfare.”
Israeli officials said the decision to bar Oliveira from entering the country was part of a broader crackdown on antisemitic activists and influencers.
Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Minister Amichai Chikli said Israel would not allow individuals accused of spreading hatred against Jews to enter the country.
“Anyone who comes here with the goal of spreading hatred will be sent back the way they came,” Chikli said. “Entry or activity in Israel will not be permitted for anyone who spreads antisemitic content, supports BDS, or incites against the State of Israel and the Jewish people.”
Conservative commentator Laura Loomer praised the move on X, saying Chikli told her “it was his pleasure” to ensure Oliveira was denied entry after landing in Israel from the United States.
Loomer said Oliveira had traveled to Israel shortly after appearing on Tucker Carlson’s show, where the two discussed Israel in what she described as a hostile and misleading manner.
She also mocked Oliveira’s deportation, noting that much of his YouTube content focuses on criticizing countries for failing to stop illegal immigration and remove foreign nationals.
“The most hilarious part about this is Tyler won’t be able to complain because his entire brand is making money on YouTube by calling out countries for not turning immigrants and foreigners away,” Loomer wrote. “Great job Israel for keeping the trash out.”
The decision comes amid growing concern in Israel and Jewish communities worldwide over the rise of antisemitic content on social media platforms, where influencers and online personalities increasingly reach millions of viewers with conspiracy theories and rhetoric targeting Jews and Israel.
