The Israeli Air Force, operating in coordination with the Gaza Division, carried out a precise strike that eliminated three of the terrorists.

Israeli forces overnight acted against what the military described as another Hamas ceasefire violation after terrorists were detected emerging from an underground terror network in eastern Rafah.
Surveillance units from Unit 414 identified eight Hamas operatives exiting a subterranean tunnel system in the area. In response, the Israeli Air Force, operating in coordination with the Gaza Division, carried out a precise strike that eliminated three of the terrorists.
Additional strikes were launched toward escape routes used by the remaining operatives, while ground forces continued wide-area searches and pursuit operations to locate and neutralize all those involved.
The incident again underscored Israel’s assessment that Hamas continues to exploit underground infrastructure to maneuver fighters and threaten Israeli forces, even amid ceasefire arrangements. Troops under Southern Command remain deployed across the sector and on heightened alert to counter any immediate danger.
Separately, the IDF also carried out a targeted strike on Thursday against a Hamas terrorist who was actively preparing an imminent attack on Israeli forces operating in southern Gaza. The suspect was identified through intelligence assessments and was struck to neutralize the immediate threat.
Measures were taken in advance to minimize the risk to civilians, including the use of precision-guided munitions and aerial surveillance.
In another incident earlier in the day, troops from the 7th Brigade combat team identified a terrorist who crossed the Yellow Line and advanced toward Israeli forces in a threatening manner. The forces responded swiftly and eliminated the suspect.
The military said it remains focused on preventing terror attacks and protecting its troops, stressing that it will continue to act decisively against any threat that emerges on the ground.
