Tailor Brands, an AI-powered platform that helps entrepreneurs start and grow businesses, has announced a $1 million initiative to support Americans who have lost jobs to artificial intelligence.

The program, called the Tailor AID (Artificial Intelligence Displacement) Grant, is designed to provide laid-off workers with the tools to become business owners at no cost.

Yali Saar, co-founder and CEO of Tailor Brands, said the company wants to transform job loss into an opportunity for independence.

“When the world says, ‘You’re fired,’ we want to be the first to say ‘you’re hired, by you,’” Saar told Our Crowd.

He added that while AI is eliminating some positions, it also offers individuals the capabilities once available only to entire departments. “Our grants turn a painful pink slip into a launchpad for financial independence,” he said.

The grant package includes services and resources to establish and manage a new company.

Recipients will receive full LLC formation, excluding state filing fees, along with an AI-generated branding suite that covers logo design, domain registration, and a website.

The package also provides the first year of business banking and bookkeeping tools, access to a business coaching program, annual compliance, and one year of registered agent services.

By covering the core legal, financial, and branding needs of a startup, Tailor Brands aims to reduce barriers for those moving from traditional employment into entrepreneurship.

The program is intended to help individuals quickly transition from displacement to launching their own ventures with structured guidance and professional support.

Tailor Brands has previously worked with millions of prospective business owners worldwide, offering AI-driven tools to simplify the business creation process.

With Tailor AID, the company is positioning itself not only as a service provider but also as a partner in addressing one of the major challenges of the AI era: ensuring workers have pathways to remain active contributors in the economy.

The $1 million fund represents Tailor Brands’ first large-scale grant program and is expected to attract broad interest among those seeking to turn job loss into new opportunities for growth and stability.
