Commentator Yishai Fleisher shared a video of a Gazan who addressed Prime Minister Netanyahu, asking to be able to leave Gaza.
“We’ve had our fill with wars,” he said. “Now, open up the border.”
“Let me live in a decent country,” he continued. “This land is harsh. The occupier [Israel] is harsh. The owners of the land [the Palestinian Authority and Hamas] are harsh and criminal. Therefore, Netanyahu, this is my message to you and the whole world: My children and I have had enough of this land. I want a land that will protect me.
“We want hope, we want salvation from this death, and we want land and society, and a government that will protect our decency.”
