Speaking to the Israeli Uvda program on Channel 12, former hostage Omer Shemtov recalled how Hamas would subject him to psychological torture, forcing him to sort terrorists’ salaries.
Hamas terrorists also demanded, at gunpoint, that he trigger a charge meant to kill Israeli soldiers, but he refused.
Hamas told Omer when he was held hostage:
“When the IDF soldiers arrive at this house, trigger the charges. If you don’t, we’ll shoot you in the head.”
Omer responded:
“Then shoot me in the head. It won’t happen. It’s not going to happen.”
