Former hostage Eitan Mor said a teaching from the Tanya — a work of Hasidic philosophy by Shneur Zalman of Liadi, the first rebbe of Chabad, first published in 1796 — helped save his life in captivity. Now free, he is printing a copy in hopes that its merit will help bring home the last remaining hostage, Ran Gvili.
