This is an astonishing admission from an institution that has consistently beaten the drum about mass starvation in Gaza.

About a week ago, the United Nations quietly posted on their website: Gaza an article titled: “100 percent of basic food needs met for the first time since 2023.”
They added caveats such as “aid must remain ‘unimpeded’” and “violence continues,” but nevertheless this is an astonishing admission from an institution that has consistently beaten the drum about mass starvation in Gaza.
Israel has insisted that it has not only met, but also exceeded, the nutritional needs of Gazans from the outset, at times reaching as much as 3,000 calories per person per day, well above both humanitarian and nutritional recommendations.
The U.N. has followed a pattern of making exaggerated claims about the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, generating a huge splash in the media, then quietly updating its data, a shift that goes unreported.
