Netanyahu delivered a direct warning to Tehran, stating that Israel remains fully prepared for any scenario.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a forceful address during a special “40 signatures” debate in the Knesset plenum, declaring that Israel is stronger than ever and warning Iran that any attack on the Jewish state would be met with overwhelming force.
Opening his remarks, Netanyahu acknowledged the increasingly heated tone of parliamentary debates but said he is neither discouraged nor intimidated by political confrontation.
“Once a month we meet here,” he told lawmakers. “I listen carefully to your remarks, which have become increasingly polemical and at times very aggressive. Sometimes the language used here should not be heard in this hall. But I must tell you, I am not deterred by these meetings. I do not shy away from them. Sometimes I can even enjoy them.”
Netanyahu highlighted Israel’s strategic position following a series of high-level meetings with U.S. leadership, noting that he recently returned from his seventh meeting with the American president since his election. He described the relationship between Jerusalem and Washington as unprecedented in scope and depth.
“In the past two and a half years, we have pushed back a threat against every citizen of Israel,” Netanyahu said, referring to Iran and its regional proxies. “Against Jews and non-Jews, religious and secular, and everyone in between. Ten million citizens of Israel stood before a danger of annihilation by the Iranian tyrant and its satellites.”
The prime minister argued that Israel’s military strength and diplomatic standing have reached new heights, emphasizing close coordination between Israeli and American defense and intelligence institutions.
“Israel has never been stronger,” he said. “The alliance with the United States has never been closer. Between the President of the United States and the Prime Minister of Israel, between me and Donald Trump, relations have never been like this. Between the IDF and the U.S. military, between our security services and theirs, there has never been anything like it.”
Netanyahu added that Israel’s global standing continues to expand, pointing to visits by world leaders, including the German chancellor and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as evidence of growing international recognition of Israel’s strength and strategic importance.
While responding to criticism from opposition lawmakers, Netanyahu said he deliberately chose not to escalate political disputes during what he described as a sensitive national moment.
“I could respond in kind, even more strongly,” he said. “I could confront you with the truth you are trying to conceal. But this is not the time for polemics. These are complex and challenging days.”
Turning to regional security, Netanyahu delivered a direct warning to Tehran, stating that Israel remains fully prepared for any scenario.
“No one knows what tomorrow will bring,” he said. “We are watching with open eyes, prepared for every scenario. I have made it clear to the ayatollah regime that if they make perhaps the gravest mistake in their history and attack the State of Israel, we will respond with a force they cannot even imagine.”
He concluded his remarks with a call for national unity ahead of the upcoming Purim holiday, invoking the historical symbolism of the festival.
“This is not the time for internal disputes,” Netanyahu said. “In these days, on the eve of the holiday of Purim, in those days as in this time, we must close ranks as a people and stand shoulder to shoulder, back to back.”
“I am confident in our strength. I trust our commanders. I trust our soldiers, men and women alike. I trust our people, and I trust you, the citizens of Israel. We have already proven that when we stand together, we achieve tremendous accomplishments. On the eve of Purim, we will stand united, and with God’s help, we will ensure the eternity of Israel.”
