Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with President Donald Trump at the White House for roughly three hours of high-level discussions focused on Iran, Gaza, and broader regional developments.

Participating in the meeting were Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and senior envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Following the talks, Trump wrote on Truth Social: “I have just finished meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu, of Israel, and various of his Representatives. It was a very good meeting, the tremendous relationship between our two Countries continues.”

The president clarified that “There was nothing definitive reached other than I insisted that negotiations with Iran continue to see whether or not a Deal can be consummated.”

“If it can,” Trump wrote, “I let the Prime Minister know that will be a preference. If it cannot, we will just have to see what the outcome will be.”

Referring to prior tensions, Trump added: “Last time Iran decided that they were better off not making a Deal, and they were hit with Midnight Hammer — That did not work well for them. Hopefully this time they will be more reasonable and responsible.”

Trump also said the two leaders “discussed the tremendous progress being made in Gaza, and the Region in general,” adding, “There is truly PEACE in the Middle East.”

The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the meeting concluded at the White House and said the leaders discussed “the negotiations with Iran, Gaza, and regional developments.”

Netanyahu “stood on the security needs of the State of Israel in the context of the negotiations,” and the two agreed to continue “close coordination and direct contact.”

Speaking briefly before departing from Ben Gurion Airport, Netanyahu said the talks would focus on Gaza, broader regional developments, and “above all” the negotiations with Iran.

He said he intended to present Trump with Israel’s principles for any agreement with Tehran, stressing they are “important not only for Israel, but for all those who seek peace and security in the Middle East and around the world.”
