The Israel Defense Forces said it carried out a strike overnight on a Hezbollah terrorist cell operating near an ambulance in southern Lebanon, with the terrorists reportedly disguised as paramedics.
According to the IDF, the terrorists had been systematically using ambulances to transport weapons from northern to southern Lebanon as part of ongoing terrorist activity aimed at Israeli forces and Israeli territory. The strike targeted members of the cell who were operating alongside the ambulance during the incident.
Israeli officials said that in the past month alone, dozens of rockets were launched toward Israel and IDF forces from areas where the terrorists had been active, accusing Hezbollah of using ambulances and medical infrastructure to support military operations.

Separately, IDF forces from the 401st Brigade combat team continued operations in southern Lebanon, carrying out raids on Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure.
During the operations, soldiers located weapons caches and destroyed several advanced anti-tank missiles that were intended to be launched toward Israeli territory. Troops also located weapons stored in underground positions, and the weapons were destroyed immediately after being discovered.
The operations come as Hezbollah continues to launch rockets, missiles, and drones at Israeli soldiers and civilians along the northern border since joining the war alongside Iran, opening a second front against Israel as the regional conflict expanded.
