Among the locations of abuse documented were the Nova Festival, Route 232, Nahal Oz military base, and kibbutzim Re’im, Nir Oz, and Kfar Azza.
A disturbing new report has pulled back the curtain on the atrocities committed by Hamas against women during their Oct. 7 rampage against Israel.
Compiled by the Dinah Project, investigators gathered testimony from eyewitnesses, former hostages, and 27 emergency response teams while analyzing forensic evidence from photos and videos.
The investigation shows Hamas terrorists didn’t just murder women. They raped them first, then kept assaulting their dead bodies. Dozens were found stripped naked and tied to poles.
“Women were found dead, naked, and mutilated – shot in their genitals and tied to trees,” explained Prof. Ruth Halperin-Kaddari, who led the investigation.
“The fact that the same things happened in three to six locations can’t be coincidence but proof this was premeditated.”
Among the locations of abuse documented were the Nova Festival, Route 232, Nahal Oz military base, and kibbutzim Re’im, Nir Oz, and Kfar Azza. Same pattern everywhere.
Back in October 2024, former hostage Amit Soussana became the first to break the silence regarding Hamas sexual violence, describing the abuse she endured by her captors in a powerful testimony to the UN council.
“I was held captive alone, chained by my ankle with a metal chain, unable to move, and had to ask for permission to use the bathroom,” Soussana revealed at the time.
“In that house, I was sexually assaulted by the Hamas terrorist who guarded me. He forced me to go to the shower and entered the room, pointing his gun at me. He was breathing heavily and had a monstrous, beast-like face.”
“I knew exactly what he was planning to do, yet I couldn’t do anything to prevent it. I was utterly helpless. When the assault was over, I wasn’t even allowed to cry or to be sad. I had no one to comfort me and was forced to act nice to the person who had just sexually assaulted me in the most horrifying way.”
Now 14 other female hostages in the report have bravely come forward to detail their horrors of abuse endure in captivity, including forced nudity, sexual harassment, assaults, and threats of forced marriage.
The report states its mission “to set the historical record straight: Hamas used sexual violence as a tactical weapon of war.”
Its organizers have already briefed the UN Security Council, UN High Commissioner of Human Rights, and White House Senior Staff and expect to present their findings on Tuesday.
