Le nageur isra\u00e9lien Ami Omer Dadaon a remport\u00e9 une m\u00e9daille d’or et a battu le record du monde du 100 m\u00e8tres nage libre mardi lors de la deuxi\u00e8me journ\u00e9e de comp\u00e9tition des Championnats du monde de paranatation 2023 \u00e0 Manchester, en Angleterre.<\/p>\n

Dadaon a r\u00e9ussi un temps de 1 minute 18,94 secondes, battant le record du monde de 1:19,26 qu’il avait \u00e9tabli plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e \u00e0 la Coupe du monde de paranatation \u00e0 Berlin. Cinq nouveaux records du monde ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tablis mardi lors des Championnats du monde et trois d’entre eux au 100 m\u00e8tres nage libre – deux chez les hommes et un chez les femmes.<\/p>\n

Dadaon, qui souffre de paralysie c\u00e9r\u00e9brale, d\u00e9tient le record du monde Guinness du 200 m\u00e8tres nage libre le plus rapide r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par un paranageur masculin dans la cat\u00e9gorie section 4 \u2013 2 minutes 44,84 secondes. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 chronom\u00e9tr\u00e9 aux Jeux paralympiques de 2020 \u00e0 Tokyo, au Japon, le 30 ao\u00fbt 2021, battant son propre record du monde de six secondes. Il a \u00e9galement remport\u00e9 une m\u00e9daille d’argent au 150 m\u00e8tres quatre nages masculin lors de la m\u00eame comp\u00e9tition.<\/p>\n

L’athl\u00e8te a d\u00e9j\u00e0 remport\u00e9 trois m\u00e9dailles d’or aux Championnats d’Europe 2021 au Portugal – dans les courses de 50 m\u00e8tres, 100 m\u00e8tres et 200 m\u00e8tres nage libre.<\/p>\n

Au total, 538 athl\u00e8tes de 67 pays participent aux Championnats du monde de paranatation 2023, qui se d\u00e9rouleront du 31 juillet au 31 ao\u00fbt. 6.<\/p>\n
