Le Premier ministre Benjamin Netanyahou, lors d’une conversation t\u00e9l\u00e9phonique avec la Vice-Pr\u00e9sidente am\u00e9ricaine Kamala Harris jeudi soir au sujet de la coop\u00e9ration entre les deux pays dans plusieurs domaines, a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 son engagement \u00e0 emp\u00eacher l’Iran de d\u00e9velopper des armes nucl\u00e9aires destin\u00e9es \u00e0 d\u00e9truire l’\u00c9tat h\u00e9breu.<\/p>\n

En janvier, f\u00e9licitant le Pr\u00e9sident Joe Biden et Harris pour leur victoire \u00e9lectorale, Netanyahou avait r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 que la menace iranienne restait la priorit\u00e9 absolue d’Isra\u00ebl.<\/p>\n

L’administration Biden a montr\u00e9 son empressement \u00e0 revenir \u00e0 l’accord nucl\u00e9aire iranien de 2015, auquel Isra\u00ebl s’oppose avec v\u00e9h\u00e9mence, le consid\u00e9rant comme un danger existentiel. Biden \u00e9tait le second mandataire lors de la signature de l’accord, sous la direction du Pr\u00e9sident de l’\u00e9poque Barack Obama.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9j\u00e0 en novembre, peu de temps apr\u00e8s les \u00e9lections am\u00e9ricaines, s’adressant au m\u00e9morial annuel du premier Premier ministre d’Isra\u00ebl, David Ben-Gourion, Netanyahou avait adress\u00e9 un message au dirigeant am\u00e9ricain, affirmant: \u00abIl ne peut y avoir de retour au pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent accord nucl\u00e9aire.<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Nous devons nous en tenir \u00e0 une politique sans compromis visant \u00e0 garantir que l’Iran ne d\u00e9veloppera pas d’armes nucl\u00e9aires<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Netanyahou.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 notre position r\u00e9solue contre la nucl\u00e9arisation de l’Iran et \u00e0 notre opposition \u00e0 l’accord nucl\u00e9aire avec l’Iran, de nombreux pays arabes ont fondamentalement chang\u00e9 leur approche \u00e0 l’\u00e9gard d’Isra\u00ebl<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, a-t-il ajout\u00e9, soulignant les r\u00e9cents accords de paix avec un certain nombre de pays arabes. .<\/p>\n

Plus r\u00e9cemment, l’administration Biden a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu’elle restait ouverte \u00e0 des pourparlers avec l’Iran sur l’accord nucl\u00e9aire de 2015 malgr\u00e9 le rejet par T\u00e9h\u00e9ran d’une invitation de l’UE \u00e0 se joindre \u00e0 une r\u00e9union avec les \u00c9tats-Unis et les autres participants originaux \u00e0 l’accord, a rapport\u00e9 AP.<\/p>\n

Un haut responsable de l\u2019administration a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les \u00c9tats-Unis \u00e9taient \u00abd\u00e9\u00e7us<\/em>\u00bb du rejet, mais \u00e9taient flexibles quant au calendrier et au format des pourparlers et voyaient la d\u00e9cision de l\u2019Iran de snober l\u2019invitation europ\u00e9enne dans le cadre du processus diplomatique, selon le rapport.<\/p>\n

Concernant d’autres sujets, Harris a salu\u00e9 le grand succ\u00e8s de la campagne de vaccination en Isra\u00ebl. Elle et Netanyahou ont convenu de cr\u00e9er une \u00e9quipe conjointe pour resserrer la coop\u00e9ration en mati\u00e8re de recherche et d\u00e9veloppement technologique dans la lutte contre le coronavirus, mais \u00e9galement au sujet de l’eau, de l’\u00e9nergie verte et dans d’autres domaines.<\/p>\n

La Vice-Pr\u00e9sidente a \u00e9galement exprim\u00e9 l’opposition totale de l’administration am\u00e9ricaine \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision du procureur de la CPI \u00e0 La Haye d’enqu\u00eater sur Isra\u00ebl pour crimes de guerre.<\/p>\n
