Un site Internet britannique du a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 la mosqu\u00e9e \u00abd’avoir r\u00e9pondu aux pr\u00e9occupations de la communaut\u00e9\u00bb en fermant une exposition \u00e9ducative sur l’Holocauste f\u00e9licitant les musulmans albanais d’avoir sauv\u00e9 des juifs pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Roshan Salih, r\u00e9dacteur en chef du site d\u2019information musulman britannique 5 Pillars, avait lanc\u00e9 un appel au boycott du Centre pour la compr\u00e9hension islamique dans le quartier londonien de Golders Green, selon un article paru dans le Jewish News de Londres vendredi dernier.<\/p>\n

Citant les liens de l’exposition avec le m\u00e9morial et le mus\u00e9e de Yad Vashem \u00e0 J\u00e9rusalem, Salih a d\u00e9clar\u00e9: \u00ab\u00a0Les comm\u00e9morations ne doivent jamais \u00eatre organis\u00e9es conjointement avec les oppresseurs isra\u00e9liens ou leurs partisans<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/p>\n

Dans un communiqu\u00e9 annon\u00e7ant l’annulation de l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement, la mosqu\u00e9e a d\u00e9clar\u00e9: \u00ab\u00a0L’objectif de ce programme \u00e9tait de montrer les musulmans sous un jour favorable en racontant l’histoire d’albanais musulmans ayant sauv\u00e9 des juifs pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

Selon le journal, les responsables des mosqu\u00e9es \u00abignoraient les relations internationales de certaines organisations et leurs affiliations politiques. \u2026 Une fois que cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9cis\u00e9, l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement a \u00e9t\u00e9 annul\u00e9. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Salih a salu\u00e9 l’annulation de l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement, affirmant que la mosqu\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0devait \u00eatre f\u00e9licit\u00e9e pour avoir r\u00e9pondu aux pr\u00e9occupations de la communaut\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Karen Pollock, qui dirige le Holocaust Educational Trust, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Londres, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que c’\u00e9tait \u00abune grande honte<\/em>\u00bb que l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement ait \u00e9t\u00e9 annul\u00e9.<\/p>\n
