En las primeras horas del mi\u00e9rcoles, se activaron las sirenas en las Alturas del Gol\u00e1n. Seg\u00fan los reportes, la alarma se encendi\u00f3 debido a las intensas luchas en Siria. No se report\u00f3 la ca\u00edda de ning\u00fan proyectil sobre suelo israel\u00ed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Una alianza de rebeldes sirios en la zona sur impulsa una gran ofensiva para recuperar posiciones ocupadas por el Ej\u00e9rcito del dictador Bashar Al Assad en la provincia de Quneitra, cerca de las Alturas del Gol\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

Esta provincia se halla en una posici\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica, a 70 km de Damasco, y ha sido el escenario de varias batallas entre disidentes y oficialistas sirios. El portavoz de los rebeldes, Issam al-Rayes, escribi\u00f3 en cuenta de Twitter que los grupos insurgentes est\u00e1n peleando bajo la bandera del Ej\u00e9rcito Libre Sirio. A su vez, neg\u00f3 que haya combatido en conjunto con el frente Al Nusra.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Israel se debate qu\u00e9 hacer. El Estado jud\u00edo ya adelant\u00f3 la posibilidad de intervenir en Siria en el caso de que los refugiados sirios se aglutinen en su l\u00ednea de armisticio en las Alturas del Gol\u00e1n, luego de que la minor\u00eda \u00e1rabe drusa israel\u00ed realizara una fuerte campa\u00f1a p\u00fablica para solicitar ayuda para sus parientes atrapados en la guerra civil.<\/p>\n

Israel, hasta el momento, se limit\u00f3 a responder los ataques iniciados por Siria, adem\u00e1s de atender m\u00e9dicamente a cientos de refugiados que provienen de ese pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

Gadi Eisenkot, m\u00e1ximo oficial militar de Israel, asegur\u00f3 hoy a la Knesset que el Estado jud\u00edo est\u00e1 preparado para cualquier acci\u00f3n b\u00e9lica que fuera necesaria. \u201cSi un gran n\u00famero de refugiados llega a la frontera de las zonas de combate, vamos a hacer lo necesario para evitar una masacre, sentenci\u00f3 el militar.<\/p>\n
