El presidente israel\u00ed, Reuven Rivlin inaugur\u00f3 el Premio\u00a0la Unidad de Jerusalem\u00a0en una ceremonia en su\u00a0residencia en\u00a0honor a los tres chicos jud\u00edos\u00a0secuestrados y asesinados, Gilad Shaer, Eyal Yifrach y Naftali Frenkel.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

El presidente israel\u00ed, Reuven Rivlin y su esposa Nechama acogieron la primera edici\u00f3n de la ceremonia de entrega del Premio de la Unidad la semana pasada en la residencia presidencial en honor de los chicos\u00a0secuestrados y asesinados, Gilad Shaer, Eyal Yifrach y Naftali Frenkel.<\/p>\n

El premio es una iniciativa conjunta de las familias de los chicos, el alcalde de Jerusalem, Nir Barkat, y Gesher, una organizaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro dedicada a salvar las diferencias entre los distintos sectores de la sociedad israel\u00ed. Su objetivo es reconocer a los individuos y organizaciones que contribuyen a la unidad entre las comunidades jud\u00edas y la sociedad israel\u00ed, y se distribuye en el reci\u00e9n declarado D\u00eda de la Unidad, tambi\u00e9n creado en memoria de los adolescentes asesinados por Hamas el a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n

El Premio de la Unidad se concede en tres categor\u00edas: Israel y la Di\u00e1spora, la Iniciativa Social, y la individual. La Casa Jabad en Bangkok y Tailandia, bajo el liderazgo del Rabino Nechemya Wilhelm, gan\u00f3 en el Israel y la Di\u00e1spora; \u00abNifgashim Beshvil Israel\u00bb (\u00abReuni\u00f3n para Israel – en el rastro de Israel\u00bb), un alza anual de la National Trail Israel iniciada por Raya y Yossi Epner en memoria de su hijo Avi, que muri\u00f3 en la tragedia del helic\u00f3ptero militar 1997, gan\u00f3 en Iniciativa Social; y el fundador de Meetchabrim (\u00abConexi\u00f3n\u00bb), Ram Shmueli, as\u00ed como m\u00fasico rabino David Menachem ganaron la tercera categor\u00eda.<\/p>\n
