El primer ministro, Biniam\u00edn Netanyahu, logr\u00f3 presentar y hacer aprobar su nuevo gobierno en una ajustada votaci\u00f3n de 61 votos a favor y 59 en contra, en una ceremonia de asunci\u00f3n que comenz\u00f3 tras una hora de postergaci\u00f3n de \u00faltimo momento, porque el mandatario estaba trabado tratando concluir las designaciones de los ministros de su propia facci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lo que se supon\u00eda que ser\u00eda una celebraci\u00f3n de la democracia en acci\u00f3n se convirti\u00f3 en un circo, en tanto que dos pol\u00edticos claves del partido Likud \u2013Gilad Erdan y Silvan Shalon- rechazaron las carteras ofrecidas hasta el comienzo de la ceremonia; cuando Netanyahu inst\u00f3 a Erdan a reconsiderar su posici\u00f3n y anunci\u00f3 la designaci\u00f3n de Shalom como ministro del Interior.<\/p>\n

Tanto Erdan como Shalom quer\u00edan la cartera de Exteriores, pero sus esperanzas se desvanecieron cuando la diputada Tzipi Hotovely recibi\u00f3 la garant\u00eda de Netanyahu de que ser\u00eda viceministra en\u00a0ese Ministerio; en tanto que el puesto principal permanecer\u00eda vacante.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Tambi\u00e9n fue anunciado que Tzachi Hanegbi ser\u00e1 el director de la coalici\u00f3n y presidente de la Comisi\u00f3n de Defensa y Exteriores de la Kn\u00e9set (Parlamento).<\/p>\n

El l\u00edder de la oposici\u00f3n Isaac Herzog atac\u00f3 al nuevo gobierno durante la ceremonia. \u201cEste no es el gobierno que la gente quer\u00eda y ni siquiera es el gobierno que quer\u00eda la mitad de la gente\u201d, expres\u00f3. \u201cConseguiste el triunfo en base a mentiras. \u00bfDespu\u00e9s de estas [p\u00e9simas] negociaciones tienes el descaro de darle consejos al mundo sobre las negociaciones con Ir\u00e1n?\u201d<\/p>\n

Herzog dej\u00f3 en claro que no tiene intenciones de sumarse a la coalici\u00f3n a la que describi\u00f3 como un \u201ccirco pol\u00edtico\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cEste es un gobierno carente de visi\u00f3n, carente de plan de trabajo y carente de esperanza\u201d.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, el primer ministro critic\u00f3 el sistema electoral se\u00f1alando que debe ser cambiado. \u201cAlienta las demandas extravagantes y excesivas de los partidos e individuos\u201d.<\/p>\n
