Las fuerzas de seguridad frustraron un ataque terrorista en un edificio de viviendas pertenecientes a jud\u00edos en una zona de Jerusalem con vistas a la ciudad vieja. El barrio, Kfar Hashiloach, pas\u00f3 a llamarse Silwan por \u00e1rabes amotinados que expulsaron a la comunidad jud\u00eda en la d\u00e9cada de 1930.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Las fuerzas de seguridad israel\u00edes lograron frustrar un complot terrorista contra el personal de seguridad en Jerusalem, seg\u00fan anunci\u00f3 el Shin Bet (Agencia de Seguridad de Israel). La c\u00e9lula terrorista fue parte de una infraestructura m\u00e1s amplia \u00a0que pretend\u00edan atentar contra las fuerzas de seguridad israel\u00edes y civiles en la capital.<\/p>\n

Los dos l\u00edderes son Mahmad Nasser Abbasy, 21, y Murad Mahmad Custiro, 22. Abbasy fue miembro del Frente Popular para la Liberaci\u00f3n de Palestina (FPLP). Uno de los sospechosos en el caso es un menor de edad.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abbasy admiti\u00f3 durante el interrogatorio que emplea a un menor de edad para llevar a cabo el reconocimiento de los acuerdos de seguridad en Beit Ovadia,<\/em> un edificio de residentes jud\u00edos en el barrio predominantemente \u00e1rabe de Silwan, con la intenci\u00f3n de llevar a cabo un ataque mediante pistolas. Luego cambi\u00f3 su curso de acci\u00f3n y eligi\u00f3 cometer un ataque terrorista utilizando un hacha y un cuchillo, que se hab\u00eda escondido en la casa de su abuelo.<\/p>\n

De Kfar Hashiloach a Silwan<\/h1>\n

Beit Ovadia se encuentra en Kfar Hashiloach,\u00a0situado al este de la ciudad de David, con vistas alMonte del Templo<\/a> y a la Ciudad Vieja de Jerusalem. En su punto m\u00e1ximo, 144 familias viv\u00edan en Kfar Hashiloach, que era un barrio yemenita jud\u00eda hasta que los residentes fueron expulsados \u200b\u200bpor los manifestantes \u00e1rabes en los a\u00f1os 1920 y 1930, que cambiaron el nombre de Silwan.<\/p>\n

Jerusalem Oriental estaba bajo control jordano entre 1948 y 1967. En la d\u00e9cada de 1990, un n\u00famero de familias jud\u00edas se traslad\u00f3 a Kfar Hashiloach, creando\u00a0guardias israel\u00edes, por temor a los ataques de sus vecinos.<\/p>\n

Abbasy admiti\u00f3 a la preparaci\u00f3n de bombas caseras y de c\u00f3cteles Molotov, que dieron a los terroristas con las \u00f3rdenes de lanzar los explosivos en los hogares jud\u00edos.<\/p>\n
