El hospital de campa\u00f1a de Israel en Nepal, atendi\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de doscientos pacientes desde que comenz\u00f3 a funcionar el mi\u00e9rcoles por la ma\u00f1ana. El personal m\u00e9dico realiz\u00f3 varias intervenciones quir\u00fargicas complicadas y los obstetras han asistido al parto de tres beb\u00e9s.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

El Ministerio de Exteriores precis\u00f3 que 246 personas han recibido asistencia en el hospital de campa\u00f1a del Ej\u00e9rcito de Defensa de Israel, donde los m\u00e9dicos realizaron quince operaciones de cirug\u00eda, para salvar las vidas de las v\u00edctimas del terremoto de 7.8 grados en la escala de Richter, que sacudi\u00f3 a Nepal. Los m\u00e9dicos israel\u00edes tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n asistiendo en los hospitales locales de Nepal, fundamentalmente en las salas de cirug\u00eda, apunt\u00f3 la canciller\u00eda.\"\"<\/p>\n

Un equipo de 250 m\u00e9dicos y rescatistas del Ej\u00e9rcito de Defensa de Israel arrib\u00f3 el martes por la noche a la capital Katmand\u00fa, tras el terremoto que devast\u00f3 grandes \u00e1reas del pa\u00eds m\u00e1s alto del mundo.<\/p>\n

El equipo israel\u00ed -el segundo en cantidad de recursos humanos en comparaci\u00f3n con el resto de\u00a0los grupos de ayuda internacional despu\u00e9s de la India- erigi\u00f3 un hospital de campa\u00f1a con sesenta camas, incluyendo un departamento de obstetricia, y trabaja en coordinaci\u00f3n con el hospital militar local.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mientras tanto, alrededor de 150 estudiantes de agricultura nepal\u00edes del Colegio Universitario Kineret, ubicado sobre las costas del Mar de Galilea (o lago Tiber\u00edades o \u201cKineret\u201d, en hebreo) realizaron una ceremonia para conmemorar a sus compatriotas que fallecieron en el terremoto. El embajador de Nepal en Israel particip\u00f3 del evento al igual que el personal de la instituci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica. Muchos de los estudiantes a\u00fan no han podido contactarse con sus familiares en Nepal desde el terremoto.<\/p>\n

Entre tanto, contin\u00faan los esfuerzos para localizar a Or Asraf, el \u00fanico israel\u00ed cuyo paradero a\u00fan sigue siendo desconocido.<\/p>\n

Dos helic\u00f3pteros fueron enviados, con equipos de rescate, a la zona de Langtang donde Asraf estaba excursionando cuando se desat\u00f3 el sismo. El padre de Asraf, Patrick, se sum\u00f3 a la b\u00fasqueda en el terreno. Se cree que podr\u00eda estar a cuatro kil\u00f3metros de Bamboo, una aldea del Valle de Langtang, a aproximadamente dos mil metros de altura.<\/p>\n
